Owners, John “Howdy” Hudson and Raymond Driggers have been residents and homeowners along the Gulf Coast for over 20 years. They have a combined 50 years of professional experience and knowledge relating to home management, maintenance, service and working alongside contractors. Currently, they are the proud owners and business partners of AC Today, a locally owned and operated HVAC company, in the Sarasota/Manatee/Pinellas County regions which services 1,000s of homes annually.
Howdy, a Wilmington, Delaware, native and graduate of the University of Delaware worked for major national banks such as Chase, MBNA and Citigroup managing brands and product development. Howdy joined the trades 12 years ago with Clockwork Home Services managing and developing the brands – One Hour Heat and Air Conditioning, Ben Franklin Plumbing and Mister Sparky Electric. Additionally, he ran the advertisement nationally for 37 company owned locations plus 400 franchise owners. Howdy and his bride, Georgia, have been married for 27 years. They are blessed with two young professional adults, Miles, a graduate of UCF, and Olivia, a recent graduate of FSU’s Nursing Program. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with their King Charles Cavalier, Dallas.

Ray, a Charleston, South Carolina, native attended The Citadel and is a 25-year veteran in the Home Service industry. He began his home service career at the age of 15 working for Sears and Roebuck. Over the course of his tenure, he ran multiple Service Experts locations. His positions included Regional Director over the Southeast markets. Ray was recognized as a Presidential Award Winner for Operational Excellence for nine years including General Manager of the Year for North America. Ray is the current licensee holder for AC Today as recognized by the State of Florida. Ray and his bride, Nicole, have been married for five years. They are blessed with two young children, Hannah and Harper, who are on their way to becoming future young professionals.
In 2018, Howdy and Ray purchased AC Today and have built a great reputation toward becoming one of the top locally owned and operated HVAC companies in the Sarasota/Manatee/Pinellas county markets. After working with many part time residents in their current business, they recognized the need for home watch services.
